Area organizations are banding together to help Fort Wayne’s refugee population. Indiana University Health awarded the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation $1 million Thursday to help develop the Refugee Health Collaborative. The collaborative is a partnership between the St. Joseph Foundation, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Amani Family Services, International House, Double Up Indiana, the IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health and Dr. Cho Mar Aung’s primary care office through IU Health.
